Yoga to deal with PMS

 For many women and  adolescent girls pre-menstrual syndrome (PMS) can be painful and debilitating causing them to be absent from work, school and disengaged with their families. While it's common practice for PMS sufferers in Western cultures to reach for over-the-counter drugs like ibuprofen or acetaminophen remedies like this are often not available to menstruators in impoverished and developing communities.  However, regular yoga practice and similar stretches can effectively and safely relive many PMS symptoms.
